Meditation

Meditation is a state of consciousness in which a person goes deep within themselves, focusing the mind and eliminating outside influences to produce a state of deep peace and relaxation.

After this deep quietening of the mind, an ability to listen to one’s own thoughts and observe the mind, body and spirits is produced. Once this is achieved, you can move deeper into expanding your awareness.

Although meditation is not religious and is practised by many non-religious groups there are many records and writings in all major world religions. Including Buddhism,Sufi/Islam,Hinduism,Christianity, New age/Pagan, Judaism, Taoism to name but a few. Famously Buddha Siddhartha experienced his enlightenment meditating under a tree in around 500 BC. The Buddha’s teachings then spread throughout the world and is practiced today.
Meditation is best defined as the simple art of being present and attuned to what is going on in the moment. I will support you through a personal Guided Meditation and depending on your needs this may be coupled with an acupressure massage of key pressure points.
I can also assist with showing you simple techniques to take away with you, including guided Meditation and relaxation/breathing techniques of self care to take away with you. Guided Meditation and Relaxation/Breathing techniques.  An emphasis is also drawn towards the healing aspects of meditation and visualisation work, thus incorporating the use of crystals/colour, the creation and Chakra alignment Healing Meditation if needed.
